There are numerous reasons to go fishing: a relaxing time spent outdoors, fun with family and friends and of course, having a few fish stories at the end of the day! The fish pictures, stories and memories are what keeps us coming back year after year and many of these stories are told time and time again. The only thing that changes is how big the fish really was!
If you’re a new angler and you’re fortunate to find success out on the water, the next step is to share your catch and we want to help! You can have your catch showcased on the official Facebook and/or Instagram page of Lip Ripper Fishing. Don’t forget to include your fish story too!
But wait there’s more! When you share your success, we want to help you continue to build your equipment inventory. Every catch you share will get entered into a giveaway for various prizes! Throughout the summer months, we’ll have monthly winners and at the end of the year we’ll have a variety of prizes to win!
If you’re an experienced angler, don’t worry there are plenty of categories for you to pick from too. Be sure to send in your photo and story via email, Facebook or Instagram messages.

2022 Share Your Catch Categories
2022 Grand Prize Winner
The 2022 grand prize winner will be determined by a variety of factors. Participants should submit their best fish story, corresponding photo(s) and any other details they feel makes them eligible for the grand prize. The grand prize category is open to anyone, but preference will be given to new anglers and/or experienced anglers who introduce new anglers to the sport
Prize: Two-day guided trip with Nick Harrington on the Missouri River Reservoirs for 2-3 people.
Submit your stories by October 31. Winner will be announced in November.

2022 New Angler of the Year
The 2022 New Angler of the Year is open to an angler who purchased their first fishing license in 2022. This award will go to an individual who is just getting their start in the sport, but submitted numerous photos, caught a variety of species and/or fished multiple different waterbodies.
Prize: Tackle Package and Gift Card
Submissions received by October 31 will be considered eligible for New Angler of the Year.

2022 Mentor of the Year
The 2022 Mentor of the Year is open to experienced anglers who have helped pass on our sport to new anglers. This award will go to an angler who introduced a new angler, or numerous new anglers, to the sport of fishing in 2022. Mentors who share numerous photos, stories or are nominated by new anglers will be considered.
Prize: Custom made snell package tied by Nick Harrington and corresponding tackle package.
Submissions received by October 31 will be considered eligible for New Angler of the Year.

2022 New Boat Owner of the Year
The 2022 New Boat Owner of the Year is open to anglers who purchased their first boat in 2022! This award will go to an angler who took their fishing to the next level by purchasing their first boat. Anglers who share photos of the boat, their stories and any other important information are entered to win! As if you needed one more reason to go buy a boat!
Prize: Custom made snell package tied by Nick Harrington and corresponding tackle package.

2022 Catch and Cook Champion
The 2022 Catch and Cook Champion is open to anglers, or the best cook in their house, who showcase excellent ways to eat the fish they catch. This award will go to an angler who showcases their favorite way to cook their catch and of course shares the corresponding recipes too!
Prize: Variety Pack of Sauces, Seasonings and Breading
Submissions must be received by October 31 to be eligible for Catch and Cook Champion

All pictures and/or stories submitted in May are eligible for the monthly prize. Individuals may submit multiple times and each submission will count as one entry in the drawing.

When you enter into the contest, remember there are a couple reminders and rules for you to follow:
- By submitting photos, you give permission for them to be showcased on the Lip Ripper Fishing social media channels, website and/or any other publications.
- When your photo is shared, you will be tagged on the respective social media platform and/or receive appropriate credit.
- Please include any applicable social media usernames or other contact information you wish to feature.
- Monthly winners will be selected by a random drawing and announced on Lip Ripper Fishing social media channels, website and/or any other publications.
- Yearly winners will be selected by a judging process based on specified criteria for each category.
- All anglers are eligible to enter, but anglers under 18 please have a parent/guardian submit on your behalf.
