Walleye Fishing

Walleye are one of the most popular gamefish in the Midwest and this is for good reason. Walleyes are often willing to bite, fight hard and are excellent table fare. Walleyes can thrive in lakes, rivers and reservoirs so there are often walleyes within reach of anglers across the region.

Spring

Spring can be one of the best walleye bites of the year. Whether you are looking to learn more about pitching jigs, vertical jigging, trolling crankbaits or even casting crankbaits for spring walleye we’ve got covered!

Summer

Summer is one of the most popular times to get out and catch some walleyes. The weather is warmer, walleye seasons have opened across the region and fish are often ready to bite! We cover bottom bouncing, slipbobbering, trolling crankbaits, vertical jigging and casting crankbaits for walleyes all summer long.

Fall

Fall can be one of the best times to get out and chase walleyes. While other anglers are focused on deer, waterfowl, pheasants and football fish are loading up on calories as they prepare for winter. In fall you can catch walleyes bottom bouncing, vertical jigging, pitching jigs, trolling crankbaits or casting crankbaits. Fortunately we’ve got you covered for all of them!

Ice Fishing

Ice fishing is a favorite across the Midwest as anglers set to the hardwater to pursue walleye, perch, crappie, bluegill and pike! In fact, anglers are often able to catch many of these species in the same day.

General Ice Fishing

Ice fishing can turn into some of the best multispecies fishing of the year! This is because areas that hold walleye will often hold perch, while bluegills and crappies will be swimming together as well. We share a variety of presentations, tips and tricks to help you catch both more fish and more species throughout the ice season!
