Fishing
Much like northeast South Dakota, Devils Lake is one of the most well-known rapidly expanding bodies of water. The result is a lake that boasts excellent walleye fishing, perch fishing and also plenty of pike to keep you busy.
Many anglers flock to Devils for the ice fishing, that during some years seems to never end. Yellow perch and walleye are often at the end of angler’s lines with both numbers and size in angler’s bags.
Summer can still produce some excellent fishing. Even in the heat of summer, big walleyes can still be caught.
Great numbers of walleyes can also be caught through summer. These can result in some excellent walleye dinners and also high action days. Its not improbable to catch well over 50-75 fish days.
The northern pike action can also keep you entertained between bites, with some dandy pike in the system too.
