Casting Your Dollar Farther – Budget Friendly and Efficient Ways to Fish Anywhere
Friday, November 6, 2026
6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
There are so many fisheries in South Dakota, and so many species to catch, that finding the right gear for all of them feels like it requires its own tackle shop. Nick Harrington will discuss ways to maximize your budget, keep your fishing strategy simple and efficient, and be prepared to catch whatever you may be fishing for anywhere in South Dakota.
Participants will learn that fish are more alike than we think, and many species can be caught on the same types of baits.
Participants will also learn about the most versatile baits that can perform the best for multiple waterbodies and multiple species including crankbaits, jigs, and livebait set ups.

Individuals are encouraged to attend these events and bring their questions!
