One of the most interesting and complex bodies of water in eastern South Dakota, 81 Ponds offers nothing shy of spectacular fishing. Webster Area
One of the most poplar and exciting fisheries in the area, Bitter Lake is the poster child of expanding waterbodies in South Dakota. Whether fishing the frozen or open water, Bitter has something to offer every angler!
One of the largest lakes in the Glacial Lakes region, Waubay Lake features spectacular fishing for both open water and ice anglers. Walleye and yellow perch are the primary target, but don’t count out the pike fishing and bass fishing opportunities as well.
Nebraska
A relatively new fishery, Lawrence Youngman Lake has become one of the best fishing locations in the Omaha area. Originally featuring a largemouth bass, bluegill and channel catfish population-the lake now offers anglers a chance at black crappie and walleye as well.

Sitting on the outside of the metro area, Two Rivers Lake #1 is a favorite for anglers looking for rest and relaxation. Camping spots right along the water provide an excellent fishing spot, while shore anglers can enjoy numerous fishing areas as well. Popular for all forms of recreation, Lake Zorinsky offers excellent fishing opportunities as well. A deeper lake, Zorinsky’s clear water offers both deep and shallow weed edges for fishing action all year long.
