The weather is warm, the docks are in, and it’s time to put the boats in the water! There are ample open water opportunities for anglers to enjoy, and we have a quick update on the boat ramp access in this special fishing report!

Boat Ramp Updates

It was a busy week for boat docks to be placed in preparation for the warm weather this weekend, and there are numerous locations for anglers to launch at!

This week, boat docks were placed at:

  • Spring Creek Recreation Area (Lake Oahe)
  • Cow Creek Recreation Area (Lake Oahe)
  • Lighthouse Point (Lake Oahe)
  • East Shore Lakeside Use Area (Lake Oahe)
  • Oahe Downstream Recreation Area (Lake Sharpe)
  • Farm Island Recreation Area/Hipple Lake (Lake Sharpe/Hipple Lake)
  • Joe Creek Lakeside Use Area (Lake Sharpe)
  • West Bend Recreation Area (Lake Sharpe)
  • Cedar Shore Resort Marina (Lake Francis Case)
  • Snake Creek Recreation Area (Lake Francis Case)
  • Platte Creek Recreation Area (Lake Francis Case)
  • Pease Creek Recreation Area (Lake Francis Case)
  • North Point Recreation Area (Lake Francis Case)
