The 2025 Stockmen’s Livestock Fall Brawl is set to take place September 27-28, fishing on Lake Oahe out of Spring Creek Recreation Area.
The event will kick off with a rules meeting Friday, September 26 at 6:30 p.m. at The Outpost Lodge. A steak dinner courtesy of DemKota Ranch will be available for all anglers following the rules meeting.
The entry fee is $550 per team, and teams may consist of two or three anglers. Teams will be allowed to catch seven walleyes and weigh their best five, with no more than two overs allowed within the seven fish. Teams will also only be allowed four lines, regardless if the team has three anglers.
There is no boundary to the event, just one tank of gas with no fueling on the water or carrying extra gas.
In addition to the traditional payout, there is $5,000 added to the prize pot courtesy of First National Bank in Sioux Falls.
Registration is available through The Fishing Crew’s website and will close at midnight September 25.
