The weather is warming, open water is knocking on the door, and it is time to register for the 23rd Annual Cedar Shore Walleye Tournament!
This year’s tournament will take place Saturday, April 6, and there will be an optional Day Two on Sunday, April 7. The entry fee for Day One is $300, an additional $200 is required for anglers wishing to fish the optional Day Two.
The tournament is limited to 150 teams, which is why registering early is important to secure your spot in the event.
Individuals wishing to enter The Fishing Crew 2024 Team of the Year competition will pay an additional $300 with their registration. Team of the Year standings will be awarded based on Cedar Shore Day One and Day Two, Sharpe Showdown, and Governor’s Cup.
Anglers will launch out of Cedar Shore Resort on to Lake Francis Case and may fish anywhere between Big Bend Dam to the Highway 44 Bridge. This is a catch-and-release tournament, with anglers being allotted seven tags and may weigh their best five each day. Anglers must follow waterbody specific regulations, with a minimum length of 15 inches and up to two walleyes per day 20 inches or greater.
The rules meeting will take place Friday, April 5 at 7:00 p.m. CT at the Arrowhead Resort and Conference Center in Oacoma. All anglers are required to attend this rules meeting with registration beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Individuals can enter to win through the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce by March 15, 2024. Individuals must be 18 years or older and may submit one entry per household.
Lip Ripper Fishing 2024 Schedule
The 2024 Lip Ripper Fishing Tournament Schedule is official and the boys are ready for the 2024 season! The 2024 schedule includes The Fishing Crew Ice Breaker, Cedar Shore Resort Walleye Tournament, Sharpe Showdown, Big Mac Shut Up and Fish, and South Dakota Governor’s Cup. The boys will also compete in the 10-week Tuesday Night Walleye Fishing League in Pierre.
