The National Walleye Tour (NWT) has announced the 2024 season schedule. This schedule will include four regular-season events, as well as a championship for the top-40 qualifiers on both the professional and co-angler side.
The 2024 season begins on Lake Erie, fishing out of Port Clinton, Ohio. Anglers will then head to Red Wing, Minnesota, to fish the Mississippi River. The mid-summer will see a stop at Oconto, Wisconsin, fishing the Bay of Green Bay. The regular season will then conclude on Lake Sakakawea in Garrison, North Dakota.
The top-40 pro and co-anglers will then head to the championship on Lake Huron, fishing out of Oscoda, Michigan.
The complete schedule includes:
- April 18-19: Lake Erie-Port Clinton, Ohio
- May 23-24: Mississippi River-Red Wing, Minnesota
- June 20-21: Bay of Green Bay-Oconto, Wisconsin
- August 1-2: Lake Sakakawea-Garrison, North Dakota
- September 4-6: Lake Huron-Oscoda, Michigan (Championship)
“We’ve worked hard to secure a solid schedule in 2024 and we feel like the anglers will once again be able to show their skills as professionals,” said Jeff Kelm, NWT Tournament Director. “It sets up to be a record year for the NWT.”
Registration dates will be announced following the conclusion of the 2023 NWT Championship. Additional information, such as contingency programs, championship qualifications, angler of the year program, and payout for the 2024 season.
