I hope your 2021 season is off to an excellent start! Fishing in Pierre on Lake Sharpe has been outstanding and we’ve been having a ton of fun!
As we progress through the 2021 season, I wanted to provide everyone with an update. Effective immediately, I will not be taking any more bookings for guided fishing trips. If you are looking for a trip on the Missouri River out of Pierre or Chamberlain, please contact me and I would be happy to help you plan your trip. We have some excellent anglers out here and I would love to get you connected with a top notch guide and on track for a great trip!
Don’t worry, I won’t be going anywhere. In fact, I am going to put an additional emphasis on providing detailed and accurate fishing reports and share more tips and tricks to help you catch more fish! The COVID-19 pandemic introduced many new anglers to the sport and also brought many former anglers back, I am excited to share information with these anglers to help them enjoy more success on the water.
Additionally, South Dakota is home to some of the best fisheries in the country. I am excited for the opportunity to showcase these waterbodies and do my part to keep South Dakota in the national spotlight of walleye fishing.
Finally, I will be focusing more on tournament fishing. South Dakota is a national destination for anglers and that means national level events come to enjoy the excellent fishing we have here. I will be placing an increased emphasis on competing in these events and representing South Dakota well!
